I will be frank and say that the idea of bringing in an out of state contractor may sound crazy, but it makes sense when you run the numbers. When you are in the middle of a 24" or even a 12" storm and subcontractors aren't answering the phone, someone backed a spreader into a pole, a brake line blew on another truck, drivers haven't shown up (or my favorite: they are tired) and your phone is blowing up with client complaints you quickly realize that you have moved beyond the point of making money and are just trying to get through this storm.
