During the Storm
Our 'during the storm' contracts for Corporate clients are usually for high value properties where failure is not an option. These include data centers, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities. Clients in marginal or nonexistent snow markets like North Carolina, Georgia or Kentucky utilize Epic during large storms where there is little to no contractor ability to perform.
After the Start of the Storm
The most popular use of Epic is after the start of the storm when a clients local contractor or management company has failed and properties are in need of emergency service. Our fleet can service your investments in a multi-county or multi-state region. Our office staff will send you reports from the field with before and after photos of the issues and their resolutions. If you have had know issues in the past or you feel that a storm is large enough to cause problems, one call to Epic can have us staged in your market ready to assess and respond to problems as they occur.
After the Storm
For sensitive sites, whether through parking space constraints or building usage, we offer snow relocation and removal services. Relocation is almost a necessity for Upper East Coast snow markets where parking is too valuable to lose to piles of snow. For those markets this is a common addition to emergency service. Data centers, corporate campuses and parking garages are also prime for relocation after a large event.
Planning for the worst
A new feature for Epic, based upon multiple requests, is our long term snow insurance program. These are available on a limited basis in your geographical region to ensure that members receive the top priority that the program offers. The best way to explain the details is through the following example: We have a 20 acre distribution center in Central Virginia. With an average of 26" of snow per year, 12" shuts the town down. Epic is on contract for any snowstorm over 10", anything less than 10" is the responsibility of the local contractor. That property now has designated equipment for Epic snow storms and the property owner does not have to worry about whether or not their low bid contractor can handle a 12" blizzard.
